Hi, I’m Manu

I'm a yogi, somatic mover, and trauma-informed teacher obsessed with the mind-body connection.

I started practicing yoga 15 years ago and quickly became a dedicated Ashtanga practitioner. At the time, it was my way of feeling in control through discipline, focus, and breathwork. But eventually, I burned out.

After several injuries from competitive sports, I reached a point where I was no longer willing to push through pain. My body was asking for something different, and I finally listened.

That's when I realized my yoga teacher training in India was only the beginning. I wanted to understand more about trauma physiology, somatics, and how emotions can manifest as chronic pain and injuries in the body. I studied with teachers who opened my eyes to this deeper work. I took my complex trauma certification. I became a Qi Gong teacher. And it all started to click.

For the first time, I felt my body begin to soften and release years of tension and stored energy I hadn't even realized I was holding. As I studied trauma and how it affects our nervous systems, I started connecting the pieces and developing a practice centered on understanding emotions in the body.

My passion is combining movement science with current research on emotions and trauma, then making it accessible through practical healing movement. There's incredible research available, but it only matters if people can actually use it in their daily lives.

I invite you to join me in exploring a practice of dedication, feeling, and devotion to yourself. I look forward to meeting you on the mat.

With love.
